Chakras

I admit, that it's not an easy topic, and it reveals more about it through exercises. So fascinating. My experiences showing that they exist - even, when I look at the video below, I begin to smile. But there is truth behind all this: once one of the chakras are blocked, I can feel an imbalance in that region of my body. Reaching health is a process and to maintain it perhaps a life long one.

There are seven main chakras, starting from the base of the spine through to the crown of the head. These invisible wheels of energy keep us vibrant and healthy. Blocked energy in our seven chakras can often lead to illness, so it's essential to understand what each chakra represents and what we can do to keep this energy flowing freely. The Sanskrit word Chakra translates to wheel or disk. In yoga, meditation, and Ayurveda, this term refers to wheels of energy throughout the body.

In the video below the story explains the "easy" way how chakras work and what they stand for. Guru Pathik used a series of connected pools as an analogy to illustrate how chakras worked. These pools were connected by waterfalls and channels and were initially blocked by algae or muck, representing an individual's emotional debris. Due to this blockage, the water, representing energy, stagnated and could not pass through the channels. When the clogs of algae were removed, symbolizing the opening of the chakras, it allowed the water to flow smoothly through the channels again, streaming through each pool fresh and bright. Surely, in real life, nothing is as easy as shown, yet we get a glimpse on how everything connects. For more details, download the PDF under the page "about".
